New Shield EZ in 9mm

I bought the 380 EZ for my wife to use as a range gun but she still prefers her Bersa Thunder 380. The only difference, as far as easy, is the Shield's slide pull is one pound lighter than the Bersa, and the mags have the quick load feature which really isn't necessary with most 380s. Bersa has a much better trigger and is twice as accurate as the Shield at any distance. The other issue with her Shield is that it likes to eject live rounds periodically. If the 9EZ is anything like it's little brother, I'll pass.Comment

The grip safety on these and the .380 ex are. O biggieComment

Stupid fat fingers. The grip safety does not interfere with usage and is extremely easy to depressComment

The shield EZ 380 has ton of issues and they havent figured out a way to fix it yet. I’d wait at least a year or two for the shield ez 9mmAny gun owner who does not support the NRA is a freeloader.

The 380 EZ was more in size line with the G19 sized pistol, not the Shield even though Shield is in the name. I shot a 380 EZ about a year and a half ago when looking for a pistol for my better half, and was not that impressed with it although I did not have any issues (weak ejection, but that could have been the ammo). It looks like the 9mm is the same size.
I'm glad to see more options tailored to smaller/weaker individuals in the pistol market.
If you are looking for a smaller than this, easy to operate slide in 9mm, consider a XDe (what she chose)...Comment
