I would avoid the sub compact, choose compact or full size.Protect public lands access http://www.backcountryhunters.org/Comment

Personally I like the RX as you can have the best of both worlds with the red dot and irons. If you dont want the red dot it easier to remove the red dotNRA Endowment Life Member

I just got a P320 Compact and really like it as a carry gun. It will probably replace my G19 in my CCW rotation."Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

Try to shoot, or at least hold, the X guns. They feel considerably different than the non-X. For me, either is fine, although they are different from each other. I bought a Compact RX on sale because my eyes are old and can't see sights any more. I would rather have gotten the Carry but only the Compact was on sale. I picked up a Carry grip module for 32 bucks so I'm all set.Comment

X Carry for sure. RX preferrably if money isnt an issue. I have the P320 compact and I got an Xcarry grip and fullsize slide. Love it. I had a subcompact kit but sold it off. Id just get a P365 if I wanted to go any smaller than the P320 compact. The P365 is amazing.
But I think I shoot my TP9SF Elite even better.Last edited by Tere_Hanges; 12-07-2019, 2:16 AM.CRPA and NRA member.

The P320 compact is one of my favorite guns to shoot in that size, especially since the grip and trigger really works for me. Have not had any issues with it and will make a good HD and range gun for me IMO. I also own an x-carry but its been a safe queen since the compact is working for me. So, I'd personally lean to a compact RX.Comment

The compact is pretty much perfect. Since the grips are modular you can get either model and then just get the other grip and mags for it. I started out with the compact, then picked up an X carry grip and mags. Then got a fullsize slide for the Xcarry grip.CRPA and NRA member.

X-Carry.
FWIW transition to the RX from irons will take months of practice until it becomes unconsciously competent.
Old X-Carry's will only take the Romeo 1. The new X-Carrys will accept the Romeo 1 Pro."Bruen, the Bruen opinion, I believe, discarded the intermediate scrutiny test that I also thought was not very useful; and has, instead, replaced it with a text history and tradition test."
