They must keep coming up with something to sell.

It was because of the Gen 1 magazines.

Gen 1 magazines were not full metal lined and would swell when loaded, so they would not drop free.

Pre-1990s European Mil/LE doctrine/training called for non-drop free magazines and magazine retention when reloading.

The California roster says that's not exactly true.

                  This, likely.
                  Wouldn’t mind a single-stack G41 either.

A Gastonized 1911 would have SIG barrel lockup and takedown, with an external extractor - matched up with the 1911 trigger and grip safety.
Actually that doesn’t sound half bad!

                      The ‘Legendary’ reference is a clue. A G17 Gen 1 repro makes sense I guess. I can’t see Glock doing a 1911.

                          Glock 47 being released?

Within a matter of hours, the news of the GLOCK G47 which was designed for the U.S. Customs And Border Protection (CBP), had spread to every corner of the internet. Let's take a look at what we know about the GLOCK G47, the G19MOS and the G26 specifically designed for CBP.

If glock did do a 1911, would it have a 1911 grip angle? Or the weird glock grip angle?

It's the Gen 6 (a whole new type of action)? No longer Glock is a Glock is a Glock?

I’m intrigued as well and saw the announcement on their FB page.
I think a carbine would be very interesting from Glock.
Wonder if they will ever come out with .40 cal single stack similar to G43?
