Looking for someone who can help me figure this one out. It's a 1937 S/42 with a 6 inch barrel. I can't find any info on one of these with a 6 inch barrel so wondering if it was reworked at some point in it's life. All numbers match except for link pin, mag, and right grip. The barrel has no markings except for a line stamped at the bottom where it lines up with a line on the frame, probably stamped at the same time. The SN is 7XXX and has been obscured in the pics.

Not sure how to post bigger pics here.
I have an early 37 with straw colored parts. Figuring this one is late 37.Comment
