What are some good options for 1911 grips? I was looking at Lok Grips but was wondering what other good options are out there.

Altamont makes really nice wooden grips for 1911s. I have ordered from them in the past for their slim tech pair as well as a pair for a standard double diamond set and they were very personal with me and keeping up with the progress of my grips.
Through them, I also found a pair of grips for my Colt Python as well as my Browning Hi-Power.

+1 for VZ Grips. Their G10 grips are the sexiest.

Altamont makes the factory supplied grips for a lot of the big name gun manufacturers. So does Hogue and Vz. My Colt Competition 1911 came with grips made by Vz for Colt.

What are you trying to accomplish? More texture, better cushion, thinner/thicker, appearance, etc. It would help narrow down the field.

If you're running a magwell, get a flat bottom grip (vs tapered bottom) for a clean look.
