    Seal team 5 1911

I bought a gun while I was working for west coast ammo out here, it's a seal team 5 1911 sig Sauer .45. I wanted to see what it's worth but I can't find anything like it so I figured I'd ask if anyone else has an idea?

Never heard of it. Post some pics!

External extractor 1911 not going to be a worth a lot to a real 1911 fan though, I'm just saying.

      Sounds like a commemorative 1911.

In which case, it might be worth less than a plain one.

Was it a team gun they bought themselves, or carried on mission (I highly doubt). The Pedigree would need to be documented to justify anymore value than a run of the mill Sig 1911.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

Call up Sig with the serial number and I bet Sig can tell you something about it.

I didn’t know a sig 1911 was used by a seal team unless it was a personal purchase

I’m aware of the Marsoc pistols that were built up from colts and springfields.

Take some with your phone, upload them to your PC. You can get them to your PC one of two ways:

                    1) Connect the phone to the PC directly, drag and drop/copy and paste/etc.
                    2) Email the images to yourself, download the images.

Then on this forum where you'd post something click "go advanced" instead of "quick reply."

Then in the "Additional Options" section, there is a smaller box named "attach files." Click "Manage Attachments" and upload your images. You can have a maximum of 5 images per post.

Note that it is possible for people to laser or engrave guns with any wording that they choose. But let's see what you got.

As far as I understand, and I'm currently doing the wife thing where I'm speaking for the hubby since he's working metric crap ton of hours so I may be wrong, but, he bought it new at the gun shop, they were a limited thing because of the raid and he got it because some collector didn't make it in to pick it up. It's never been out of the plastic, never been fired or loaded past the factory so I'm hoping that someone didn't randomly engrave it.

I bet it looks a lot better out of the plastic bag.
