    Shot Timer

    Dear Calgun Members-
I am looking for a reliable and small shot timer. Any suggestion? Do you have any for sale? Thx!

I have owned and tried the Pact, the CED and the Pocket Pro.

In terms of heavy usage for dry practice and competition, I would go with the Pocket Pro II.

That said, I think I am getting "gear envy" for the AMG Commander (seen it in action in a recent competition-specific class):

Shop shot timers and dry fire training products from AMG Lab. Compact Bluetooth training tools, competition timers, and accessories built for serious practice.

        Cheers,

What about the phone apps? Do they not work so good?

I used to use a Pocket Pro II. Then i had to resolder the 9V battery wires to the circuit board twice because of the flimsy connection. Now i use a ced 7000 - only drawback on it, you should check the battery levels before going to the range.

                    Not for Dry Fire.

I have the App "Shot Timer" - free

I use LaserLyte targets that make a PING when hit by a dry fire laser. I have a simulated plate rack with 6 of them. However, I can't get splits, or first shot, because I have to place the phone right next to the speaker. So I place it on the last target to give me my over all time.

+1 for the pocket pro II.

They have rechargeable 9v batteries now so that’s also not an issue.

I have the PACT III and been very happy with it.

One more vote for Pocket Pro II - I have two, one dedicated for dry fire and another in my range bag. They are also each other’s backup.

However, I had issues with electronics, screen going pretty dark, not being able to read in certain modes, etc. For some reason they are working well now. Delicate might be the word.

The PACT timer looks good also.

However I just found a Pocket Pro II for under $100.
