    VP 70Z

I picked one up last weekend, started DROS. Am curious as to whether anyone else has one. Being a 9mm Luger blowback it seems to be dependent on a good "oomph" from the cartridge, from what I've seen on line, and some of the cheaper stuff I've used in other pistols is a bit soft shooting. I'd lean toward 124 grain over 115 grain.

Also, I ordered a few firing pin spring replacements. The long heavy pull comes from having to fully compress the firing spring, was wondering if anyone has experimented with reduced power FP spring. This isn't going to be a defense gun.

    Any info appreciated.

I look forward to seeing photos. I owned one in the early 90s. I wish I could have afforded to keep it, but...

The wolff reduced power spring works fine and makes the trigger more bearable. I installed one once.

The sights are hard to do fine work with, but work well enough.

VP70 are meant to be a machine pistol with a fixed stock. Hence, the 18 rounds magazine (not norm back in the 70's for a pistol) a fixed barrel, and blow back design.

Of course it was then made for public consumption less the stock with the fun switch.
