I purchased a Hogue Handall beavertail grip sleeve. It feels pretty good in the hand because of a little more width and increases trigger finger distance. All well and good. I have medium-sized hands.
My concern is that when I pick up my wife's Shield with Talon grip wraps, that my 'purchase' is always in the same place, where it belongs. When I pick up my Shield with the Hogue, sometimes I have to adjust my hand. It doesn't 'slide into place' easily like it should.
I suppose this isn't much of an issue with a holster holding it at the same angle, I could train for that, but just grabbing it off a counter seems to introduce this variable. I'm considering going back to Talon grips.
What do you think?
