Have recently picked up my first revolver and noticed a few things.
First is the forcing cone, the edge is razor sharp. If I open the cylinder in a certain way I almost scrape my finger across this razor edge.

Is that the way it's supposed to be or can I lightly sand or file the edge?
Also noticed a lot of scuffs and machining marks throughout. This is a brand new gun. I was expecting less than cosmetic perfection after reading online postings, and really all I care is that it works. And even though the front sight blade is crooked and slightly loose I plan to replace it with a fiber optic anyway.
