    Blued Ruger Redhawk

Picked up my blued 7 1/2" .44 Mag Ruger Redhawk today from J&R Sports Supply in Livermore. The gun is in great shape and the action is incredibly smooth. It came with a set of Hogues, but they don't fit my hand. I have a set of Pachmayrs for it. Can't wait to shoot it!

      Nice specimen, looks like new!
I have a SRH that shoots really well with steep charges of W296 & H4227 using both cast and jacketed bullets. If you are looking to shorten the barrel, or anything else, Bowen Classic Arms is the go-to.

I had one exactly like it and I went with the Pachmayrs which made it way more comfortable to shoot. Unless you reload it's going to get expensive to shoot but lots of fun. For factory loads try Remington in the green box when I shot those it was real loud and about a foot of flame would shoot out of it

my blued GP100 in .357 can't match that finish

i bought it about a year ago and i could only wish the finish was that good

they don't make em like that anymore - do you know the year of that masterpiece?

I have the same pistol, with Pachmayr grips, and it is very pleasant to shoot, even with full power loads. I prefer it with my 250gr Keith cast bullet with 2400. Even my kids will shoot that one. Nice buy!

Not sure when it was built, but the finish and smoothness are what got me. Probably the best finish/action I've ever seen on a blued Ruger.
