SA LOADED TARGET 9MM VS. SA RANGE OFFICER OPERATOR 9MM

Anyone with knowledge of how these two SA 1911s compare to each other in 25 yard accuracy (9mm). They appear similar in construction but SA has discontinued the Loaded Target 9mm and it seems the Range Officer is now the 1911 of choice.
I wonder if the RO Operator was an improvement in some ways and if anyone has actually made a real world comparison on the range?

I’m not sure if they make them in limited quantities for CA only (like Glock and Gen 3s) but Riflegear CA has “more than 5” in stock of the loaded stainless. I don’t think the RO is on roster.

Not sure about accuracy differences personally, sorry.

The RO Operator PI9130L is listed on the current roster in 9mm. The description from SA is very similar in construction to the Loaded Target 9mm. Seems the major difference is the sights and the rail.

They are identical guns built in a factory production line with the only differences being the options. One will not be more accurate than the other based on model.

I like an accurate gun as much as anyone,but unless you're competing at a pretty high level it's not usually the gun keeping your scores down.

Same barrel bushing, same slide stop, same barrel. In my experience handling and shooting a few ROs, the slide to frame fit is tighter on the ROs.

I have the Loaded...at times they are hard to find new...something about CA compliant production runs...or something.

I love mine...smooth, easy and a tack driver...

I'm in Orange County of you want to shoot my Loaded Target 9mm.

PI9134LCA or PI9134L is still being produced with the target sights.

The other on roster PX9130L (fixed/combat sights) is really discontinued, because those were assembled or made with the Brazil frame (or in Brazil). Springfield is all USA production line now.

No RO series has ever been on roster.

If you go to Springfields website the PX9130L is listed as a Range Officer.

OP I have both guns and with the only difference being weight because of the rail on the RO they both shot the same before I had the loaded worked on. Both guns came from the factory with the same slide to frame fit and around a 5lb trigger pull. My RO is still mostly factory but the loaded target has been worked over by SACS when they were still full service.

You cant get the Springfield Range Officer Operator unless YOU are an "OPERATOR" or you have a red hat and red polo that say "RANGE OFFICER" on them...and you are 100 lbs over weight.
