Question for Shield owners

Are the free state version barrels compatible with CA version slides? Or do the CA version require barrels specific to that variant?

Also, anyone have experience with Remsport's 40 to 9 conversion barrels for the Shields?

The barrels should be interchangeable IIRC. Someone may chime in.

Can’t comment on the conversion barrels since I don’t have experience with them.

I don't know for certain but, I don't think they are interchangeable, due to the stupid lci on the CA version. The lci is squared, the witness hole in the non CA version is round.

What P5Ret said. I have a non CA Shield. the "peep hole" is round like my other M&Ps (all 1.0s). The CA model is squared off to accommodate the end of the flag.
