    Strange Malfunction with PPQ45

I experienced an odd and repeated malfunction today at the range with my Walther PPQ45. I have owned the gun for 9 months or so and had fired 2000 flawless rounds with it prior to today.

Today though, it just did not want to play nicely. When I would get to the last round in the magazine, it fed into the chamber but, the trigger was dead. I had to rack the slide to eject the live round. This happened about 7 times and, it happened with 3 of the 4 magazines that I brought.

Could it be the ammo that I was using (GECO)? Have any of you experienced this before?

I would definitely try other ammo. I don't have one so i can't give you much help beyond that. Have you used that ammo before?

The replacement, has had an occasional dead trigger, which I had chalked up to not letting it reset enough. I let other experienced shooters try it, with the...

Thanks guys. I think Crufflers is onto something. The thread in the Walther forum seems to describe my issue exactly. I’ll get on the horn with Walther tomorrow and see about sending it in to them.

I am really impressed with Walthers customer service. They paid for shipping both ways and ended up replacing the trigger assembly. The whole process only took a week. They definitely exceeded my expectations by a long shot.
