    sig sauer p250

sorry i cant do pictures but just wanted to post about a new acquisition. i saw this at my local turners and it really got my attention so of course i bought it,lol. the set includes a 4 inch polymer frame ,slide barrel and magazine in 9mm and a 5 inch polymer frame, slide , barrel, and magazine in 45 acp. also included is the fire group / trigger assembly and action. price was 525 and is in very nice condition and think its off roster as well. its double action only and the frames are railed. just wonder of anyone here has any experience or knowledge on these. thanks, gary

Nice score! They can be converted to P320 striker fired with a little work

Paid that much brand new in 2011, chambered in 9mm, and sold it a year later for about as much. The long DA-revolver-like trigger was difficult to get used to and be accurate with. Sig should have skipped the 250 and gone straight to the 320.

actually, the revolver feeling trigger i like in a pistol without an external safety. glad to hear it seems like i got a good deal. not that i ever sell anything, lol. but now i may start looking for the frame etc in 40.

The chassis should fit all the variants, so you only need the grip, magazine, and complete upper slide. Lots of P320 parts will fit, magazines and barrels in particular. It is not clear to me which P320 grip modules will work with a p250, as the slide stop tabs changed depending on model and year.

Some good links for working on the P250:

IMO the P250 has an excellent DAO trigger. Also the P320 and P365 would not exist today without the P250 setting the pattern. To convert a P250 to P350, you need to add a few more holes into the receiver, and there are roll-your-own blocks out there to help you do that.

Excellent deal OP to get the FCU and 2 caliber conversion kits.

These are great. The P250 has a nice DAO trigger. Just pretend it's a revolver with a bobbed hammer and you'll be right where you need to be mentally to shoot this gun well.

Good deal OP. 2 calibers for the price of one.

Good buy. I tried my buddy's 9MM P250; it shot well. He bought it to use with his laser simulator... the trigger pull was smooth, but our trigger fingers were tired after just one stage!
