I have heard that the KKM barrels are good. Storm Lake barrels are another good brand.

Got one, works well. I use it for shooting lead.

By any chance do you have a picture of your gun with the barrel on it? I can't seem to find a good picture of it via google. Thanks in advance.

I use KKM .40-->9mm conversion barrel in the Glock 35 I shoot at matches. Love it! Based on my experience, I can definitely recommend that brand.

Looks like you have to take that compensator off every time you field strip.

                  Threaded barrel, no go.

I'm not a fan of ported or comp'd pistols outside of full race guns, I've owned, shot and experimented with them, and have come to the conclusion that outside of the previous mentioned use, they have no utility, and are actually a liability on personal defense guns.

If you'd even go to the trouble, you'd be better off putting a barrel weight on the end of any using tool before a comp - it would have the same effect of dampening recoil, without increased blast and flash.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

I have a KKM on my Glock 19. I actually picked it up in person at their shop down the road and watched as they fit it to my pistol. Shoots great.

Just a reminder, installing any aftermarket part will make minimize performance. Stick with stock.

I picked up an aftermarket barrel for my Glock and had a lot of jamming issues due to the fit. Make sure you pay attention to their warranty and return policy.

I bought a 40 to 9 conversion KKM barrel for a glock 24 based on the reviews I read online. Its chamber was tighter than glock orgininal so I couldn't chamber a lot of reloads that were fired through a glock barrel. It also was not as accurate as a factory glock barrel, either the 40 in the 24 or a 9mm out of a 17. With the conversion barrel, the gun jammed non stop, even with factory ammo it couldn't get through 100 rounds with out a jam or two. My glock 17 out performed it with accuracy wise with factory and with reloaded lead or fmj bullets. I sold the barrel

I read a few reviews on the conversion barrels, and it did not seem too appealing. Seems like the KKM barrels are good, anyone got a picture of the compensated on a glock 21 or other glocks?
