New Vaquero loading ???

I see that the hammer has 2 clicks upon cocking, does the loading gate open for loading at the first click? I didnt pay attn to that when fondling one at the store.

You don't have to cock the hammer to load, just swing the gate open.

In fact, I'm pretty sure the cylinder won't spin if the hammer's cocked, as that's when Rugers lock the cylinder.
