    SIG P365 SAS

Sig is using the Mepro FT sight in a recessed mount on the slide of the P365 SAS. Pretty interesting no-snag design.

Recently Sig Sauer added a newhandgun: The SIG P365 SAS. No, they're not referring to the British Special Air Service, but instead "Sig Anti Snag.".

It looks pretty cool. Definitely looks 10x better flush mounted. I have a green one on a G29. That SAS model will make the FT a lot more popular I imagine.

If this makes the original drop to $750 or so, let's do it! Lol

The sight radius seems very short. What's the trick?

                Looks trick flush like that.

That system would be dope if they can shrink it and put it on some of the mouse guns terrible/no sights.

I guess it's like you're looking down a pipe so it doesn't much matter if it's short as long as it's an inch or so.

                      I like it.

I won't like the $1,500 price in the marketplace.

That makes sense! So, just center the dot in the tunnel?

Surely gets rid of lint caught on the front sight.

Are those barrel ports up front? Or just lightening holes on the slide?

                          Yup, barrel is ported.

If I understood concept for sights correctly, I can say it will concern aired as soon as people start trying it. On traditional sights we can see “where and how much” sights are off. On this-no way. People will complain about it takes longer to aim. On these sights first we will need “find” where the “dot” is.

Does the flash sync at 1/200s when fired? The sight area looks like a camera hot shoe.

Someone please PS a flash strobe on top of this.
