    Bersa Firestorm vs S&W Shield

I'm about to turn 21 and want to buy a handgun that I can ccw under a t-shirt. Right now I'm kinda leaning towards the Firestorm, even though the Shield is 9mm and basically the same size which makes it a little more practical. What are your opinions on these two pistols?

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

No experience with the Bersa but the Shield is a great little pistol.

Kind of like Bruce Jenner, but the rifle still has a bolt.

Neither. Save up for a Glock 19 if you plan to CCW

2.0 is gonna cost you though.

Yes, I agree, baby Glock is good under a T. Unless you have large hands, get the pinky extension.

Check out the Kahr CW9, same size, consistent trigger and lighter than the Shield.

That trigger is something to get used to.

To rm1911 I'm talking about concealed carrying after I get a permit, which isn't too hard to get in my county. Ya I could go with a g26 but a single stack would conceal better. I was totally anti 380 but after seeing a Firestorm in a lgs and watching some videos on them I kinda like it. I wish the thunder plus was legal, that looks like a cool little pistol.

It's not bad at all, especially if you're used to a DA revolver.

Ya I'll look into a cw9. See if I can find one in a gun shop to dry fire tk feel the trigger. There's a pm9 in my lgs but thats kinda pricey. The one thing about kahr's is how some people say there unreliable and stuff like the frame expanding.

The Shield will be fine (and cheap) for a first CCW pistol. Good luck.

i (and many) consider 9mm to be generally the "minimum" for carry. that said, if you're considering .380, also give the kahr p380 and the s&w bodygard (also .380) a look.

the sig p238 is also on roster, but it's a little pricey. maybe for your 2nd
