I have a glock, where the only thing OEM is the frame. It has parts from like over 6 different companies including lone wolf, some for large frame and some for small frame, all mixed together in the same gun. It works great!

I'll intentionally buy parts where they always say, "this will not work with..." and I always seem to get it to work anyway.

I don't understand how you guys do it.

Of course I love to tinker with stuff, so if it doesn't fit I consider it a challenge...

well it was only a Glock

But I agree with the idea, all my handguns are stock, no changes except to the grips, I have 3 with laser grips. If I don't like the trigger, i don't buy the gun, I tinker with my cars, not my guns, I shoot them.

Yea, a lot of people like aren't that (us). Field stripping for cleaning requires YouTube instruction for many every time.

OEM Glocks are made with a lot of slop in the tolerances. It's what makes them work every time right out of the box. As such, most aftermarket parts go after reducing that slop. But the guns are so sloppy to begin with the margin of improvement from one owner to the next is all over the map.

I have the Lone Wolf ultimate trigger. It's OK, but quality is lacking, and the screw holding the two trigger halves together stripped out. So it is only held together by the frame while installed in the gun.

But I do have now a working 3lb trigger with minimal reset, and minimal overtravel.

I'll probably cave, put the OEM trigger back in, and then put in a Ghost Pro, and fit it myself.

          ************

The thing with "improving" a Glock is you can't go right up to the edge of functionability. If the striker is too light then it wont fire. Also the striker spring has to be balance against the reset spring. A harder rest spring makes a lighter trigger (yes it is counter intuitive), but if up against too light of striker spring won't recock the trigger. Then, if the recoil spring is too light it wont put the slide back into battery.

You can make a Glock a LOT better, but you will never make it 1911 awesome.

What happened to Lone Wolf? They were one of the first Glock aftermarket providers.

Did they change hands, start sourcing from China?

                Good question.
I will never buy any more lone wolf products in the future.
I really wanted the dam trigger to work.

Lone wolf = trash. Not to be confused with Wolff springs.
