Would like an update on GSR's

I have been looking at the Sig GSR and I remember a thread that had a couple of people that had some complaints about a FTF issue. How many times were they sent back SIG? What ended up being the diagnosis? And how are the guns behaving now? Was the problem wide spread or limited to a particular run?
Sure don't like the idea of buying a gun that is tempermental or sensitive to different types of ammo. In put would be appreciative.

Still happening to their newest production. People are bitching about their new GSR giving them FTF all the time. Ammo and mag are not the cause.

I was looking for one myself. I tried to find evidence to support my purchase, but finally gave up and got a Dan Wesson instead. I'm not that great at Math, but didn't like my chances.

There was a guy on thefiringline.com that had a good one out of the box. He claimed no FTF after 500 rounds.

I can't wait to buy a few GSRs for $250ish.

Anyone that wants to get rid of a GSR, I will buy it for, hell, $275... PM me

I've bought several "troublesome" AR uppers over the years. Funny, they work fine for me.

As far as I'm hearing, they are still problematic pistols.

I bought a GSR in 2004. Had to send it back once because the bushing was so tight it locked up when I was disassembling it. The whole gun was extremely tight, which I believe was their goal, for accuracy.

Since then, have never had any failures in thousands of rounds.
