    Probably not going to sell afterall just gonna keep it in the collection just get a new one. It was $1080 with tax and all.

      Keep it. I have one exactly like yours and it is one of my favorite 1911s.

        I paid about the same as the O.P. for my S&W 1911. It may be worth a bit less than that right now, but I wouldn't dream of selling it unless I absolutely needed the cash (in my first 100 rounds, I was getting 2" groups at 20 yards; my only prior "handgun" experience was with my Blackhawk (and no, I didn't use the 'Lasergrips')).

            Must have been a counterfeit
            I got mine 4 years ago for about $750. One of the best 1911s I have owned.

              Sold it to my brother for 800 bucks with a few conditions I keep in my house, and use it whenever I want.
