1st hand gun was a Buckmark
2nd was a PX Storm (9mm). It would be one of the last guns I would sell. Fits my hand very well. I am incredibly accurate with it. Changed sights on most of my hand guns but kept the 3 white dots on the Storm. I have a Safari ALS holster for it.I own a px4 storm Special duty n 45 acp.
It was suppose to be the cats pajamas.
Most folks hit the nail on the head, with no real holster support, weird aesthetics, blah blah blah.
I like my px4 but there are better pistols you can look at but a px4 wouldnt be my first choice.I bought one some time back. Overall I liked the gun, but at the end of the day it was not a comfortable shooter in my hand. I put about 500 rounds through it, but it never really felt at home like my other guns. No mechanical issues, and it never failed to go BANG. Sold it to my neighbor and he loves the hell out of it.Comment

At the end of the day...
If it's from Beretta, it must be good!Comment

I had the 45 ACP version but I couldn’t get used to the slide mounted decocker/safety. I tried swapping them for the low profile decocker only but they were still in the way of where I wanted to grab the slide to rack it.
Plenty of other guns out there that don’t have this problem.
Sure looks gorgeous though.Comment

This is interesting info. I've been seriously thinking about purchasing one of these. Just to kind of mix it up in my collection. interesting lie to me is the fact that Beretta is still the oldest continuously operated company in the world.sigpic

The Beretta PX4 9mm is my very first gun purchase, still have it and love it. I'm not a big pistol shooter as wife and I spend most of our time shooting trap, but whenever we go to the rifle/pistol range the PX4 gets quite a bit of workout.
The best thing I love about the pistol is that it is absolutely reliable no matter what ammo I feed it. It is also very soft shooting. Both attributes makes it a very good gun to teach new shooters how to use a center fire handgun.
I've had it for many years now and while I don't shoot it a lot, it is always on standby at home as my HD handgun. During the freedom week, I bought a couple of standard size magazine for it too which makes it really nice as a HD option.Comment

Buy one to add to your collection before it disappears.
The PX4 is unique on the CA roster in that it is a polymer pistol that is hammer fired and DA/SA. I think that the only other one on roster is the HK USP.
As for aftermarket, not much to buy except the Beretta competition trigger group and a "D" hammer spring, but those two mods alone will give you a nice shooting range gun.Comment
