Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here, found this site while I was researching what gun to get. All the information I needed was right here and I picked out a Springfield XD40 today. Now the 10 day wait is gonna kill me.

^^ Have you checked Kings in Glendale just went by there today and they had 4 of them, really great guys. And good prices.

I have been looking in Sacramento also. I want a XD45 though.

Check the gun store in Vacaville. I thought I saw an XD40 there, but I could be wrong.

Congrats! Just picked one up myself a little over a week ago. Have a couple days left on the DROS so I know how you feel...hang in there!

I think there were a couple (well, maybe just one) in the classifieds, no? He was down in Socal too; think it was a Tactical model.

I think River City Guns had one in stock, that's where I picked up the XD40. The new place that just opened last weekend, Just Guns had one yesterday.

There was one other place, I don't remember the name of the shop. It was off of Roseville Rd and Madison next to Highlands Upholstery. It's a hole in the wall bait shop that has a few guns in the back of the store. He had a XD45 in stock too.

Congrats! the 10 day wait is always the killer. Our truck club will have a get together on May 17 at the Rancho Cordova Shooting Center.
