    Gyrojet sighting

Did some FFL window shopping this morning along the US-101 corridor from SF to Santa Rosa. On my way home I stopped by Marin Firearms and behold...

A gyrojet model b pistol with ammo and special MBA presentation case. Never seen one in the wild. Cool pistol for you oddity collectors out there.

I thought this was going to be a thread about you at the range trying to get your gyrojet sighted in.

Still have that though, do they? Guess I can't say I'm too surprised given the rather niche appeal of a gun you can't really shoot.

Maybe they should put ***OFF ROSTER!!!*** next to it.

the ammo is worth the price alone
I fired one once. really interesting and really interesting story behind the developers

Ironically I saw a Gyrojet on display just yesterday. It was only the second one I have ever seen. It is at Doms in Livermore, complete with presentation case and live rounds too! I did not see a price tag associated with it. I spent the better part of last night YouTubing them.

Very cool, and odd, little devices.
Life was simpler, and more honest, when revolvers and lever actions were the rule.

I remember bumping into this gun on YouTube first. Never thought I’d ever see one in person. TAOFLEDERMAUS did a good job discussing the gyrojet and MBA. Plus it was conceived when CA was free. Cool piece of history for sure

My ffl has one has the original flyer that came with it and the gyro jet certificate that some guy in 1960 something qualified with it and a letter with extra ammo about the original owner may have got some factory duds so they sent him a extra box of rockets for it

Did any of you see it come with a gold medallion in the case as well? Couldn’t tell if it was the creator of the pistol.

                      1 single round for $195.

Cool pistol. I'd love to play with one if ammo was around. Even if it was 5 or 8 bucks a shot I think it'd be worth it.

^ Nevermind, that may be a fired round for that price?

I saw the one at Dom's when I bought my Uberti 1866, I asked about the price - they told me it was not for sale
