Is barretta starting to coat the inside of there beretta 92 series pistol. I saw a beretta 92 and the barrel was painted the same inside as outside the barrel. Is this a mistake and will it affect accuracy?

Beretta 92 barrels

Maybe yes maybe no but it can be the person who did the painting that got very lazy during that day. -
92 barrels are chrome lined. Unless you saw a much older model perhaps? My Marketplace Feedback: https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...k#post54003245Comment

Beretta doesn't "paint" their barrels. For that matter, it's likely only Jimbo's Guns & Fenceposts paints their barrels. Maybe you mean nitriding, parkerizing, blueing, or any number of other metal treatments.---------------------

Wait? I thought all models except 92s,92b, and inox(stainless) are chrome lined? My friend said even his brigadier was CL, but then again I have no clue.Comment
