80% Glock clone possible to build?

I purchased an 80% Glock clone kit with the intention of legally building it. It is a subcompact Glock 26 clone. I submitted my Unique Serial number application and received the attached back from the DOJ. If I am understanding this correctly then the only way I can build this is if I can equip it with Micro Stamping Technology which does not exist as of yet, and submit three examples of my homebuilt firearm into the DOJ to test???

It does not seem possible in CA anymore.

Dimensionally compliant Single shot bolt or break action only, and no converting it to semi auto until you leave this state for good.

Any you have to attach a 3.7 oz plate of stainless steel to the frame to put the serial numbers on.

Basically, no you cannot build an 80% pistol in CA anymore.

            Correct.
Since you want to legally build it as a semi-auto pistol; it needs to have all CA mandated safety features (Chamber Load Indicator, Magazine Disconnect Mechanism, Microstamping Array) and pass CA DOJ safety testing.

In order to avoid all that you can build it as a dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistol or a dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistol and, while in CA, keep them configured as such to remain CA legal.

In addition to all of that, the CA DOJ provided serial number needs to be marked on 3.7oz of PH 17-4 stainless steel that is embedded in the receiver in such a manner that removal will significantly damage or destroy the receiver.
^No commerically available "80%" polymer receiver meets this requirement.
