Glock modification recommendations

What places can folks on here recommend for Glock slide milling, cerakote work, stippling, etc? I have a couple of G20's that I want to have modified.

The more you modify it the more it will be "yours" and the harder to sell and not take a loss on if you decide to get rid of it. Besides.. why would you ever mess with "perfection"?

Their work is exceptional, and the turn around was MUCH faster than quoted.
Their brand is also known and trusted, which makes a difference if you ever intend to sell it.

Yup.. the more you make it "yours" with customization, the more it is likely to stay "yours" and its simple marketing...you decrease the possible number of people interested in your gun with every modification.

What the folks here posted about the Glocks being customized is true. Kinda like a marriage...its yours and if you want out your going to lose money.

Having said that I would pick a "name" gunsmith like Wilson Combat or Taran Tactical. First of all warranty issues (if any) is easier to handle because they will probably be around for awhile.

Second.... IF you wanted to sell it later and have all the documents (receipts) you will probably be out less money and have an easier sale than if "no name gunsmith" did the work even though the quality of work may be the same or better.

From my experience:

Frame work:
Weichel Armament - great detailed work, a little pricey
FYF Industries - good work, cheaper, fast turnaround

Slide work:
Loki Tactical - great work, long turnaround but worth it

To make it better for me? I'm not the OP, but I'm having a magazine ejection button installed that sticks out more, and a slide lock that's easier for my arthritic hands to maneuver.

The few mods I could see helping at sale time are an MOS slide cut for optics, glock finger cut of the trigger guard ( single cut not the double) and use of G34 extended controls. Other than that keep it stock.

Laser engraving is rapidly hitting the market.

If I was going to stipple a Glock now, I would look for an outfit that uses a laser.

Almost any patterns you want-
It’s done via a program so both guns can be identical.

The result looks professional. Weather it’s a trump maga-zine image on the mag or hex patterns on the frame... laser looks factory.

It’s also fast so the price should be decent - less labor - should be lower cost.

This is almost the same question everyone ask about their beloved glocks. For me to tell anyone the best upgrade is changing out the sights if you don't like it and the #1 is changing out your recoil rod and spring. I like going with heavier spring since most of the time a lot of shooter doesn't participate in matches
