I have some 9mm rounds and I need to remove 3 bullets from them. Is there anyway to safely remove them without the use of a bullet removal tool? I need to find out if the bullet has exposed lead on the inside of them. I have a gun with an aluminum compensator and was told not to shoot bullets with exposed lead on the inside because some of the lead will crater the compensator.

Just hold the brass with a vice and use pliers to pull out the slug. Don't worry, it's perfectly safe.Homer Simpson gun safety: "This is the trigger, and THIS is the part you point at whatever you want to die..."
