    Universal pistol belt setup

I've got a handful of pistols, none of them share magazines (yet; #thanksglock). I'd like to get a holster and mag pouch setup on one belt such that i only need to wear one belt but be able to swap holsters and magazine type quickly, while maintaining the efficiency on the draw of kydex/ plastic holsters and mag pouches

The holster question is generally answered via the safariland qls http://www.safariland.com/products/h...6.html#start=1

Is there a product on the market that will support single stack 45acp and 9mm, double stack 9mm, shield 9mm magazines?

Edit: i have/tried these a while back https://lapolicegear.com/lapg-po-dpp-double-pistol.html but they're not "high speed operator" enough for me

HSGI for your mag pouch needs. For example, their single pistol pouch, will carry everything from 1911 too Glock mags.

I run 2" volund gear works belt with velcro liners. HSGI mags, 3 pistol, 2 AR. Each of my 7 holsters are using Bladetech TekLok, I can swap gun holsters in about 20 seconds. Holsters made by Blade Tech or T5 custom kydex (EOOR)

HSGI will work on wide variety of single and double stack mags. CZ, M&P 9/45, 1911, Sigs, Glocks 17/30

this is my best attempt to a quick modular system

I have used the G-Code RTI systems for many years for my quarterly quals. It allows me to swap numerous pistol configurations and magazine systems on the range quickly (in seconds). Both the holsters and magazines (4 total. two per mount) are running the RTI hangers. The receptacles (RTI mounts) are mounted on my gun belt. If you follow this link and then look at the link images, the fourth image of the green mag holders on the camo belt reflect my system: https://www.tacticalholsters.com/pro...rpion-adapter/ . Hope this is helpful.

Off the Grid Concepts makes a kydex mag pouch that supports both single stack and double stack magazines.

if you are fine with a bit less tactical, and more competition looking pouch

these will fits double stack, and you can angle and change from front face to side facing.

Ben Stoeger Pro Shop has a large selection of USPSA, IDPA, IPSC, and 3-Gun Gear, Guns and Parts to help you train and shoot better.

add this spacer and you can then use single stack magazines. (although the modification isn't a quick change)

I’ve had good luck using the safariland qls and hsgi polymer tacos mounted on a condor battle belt.

Those mini polymer ones (https://www.highspeedgear.com/hsgi/16SPP0-16SPP0.html) look enticing.... How does the draw feel when you pull a magazine out of the polymer taco? It looks like they are only sold in single pouches instead of double pouches... is it kind of loose/wobbly because the "base" on where the single pouch grips the belt is slimmer than on a double pouch?

I was planning on using these new pouches in uspsa (production division), so I'm being a real stickler on how smooth the draw is for the reload. Polymer on polymer is very smooth.

I'd likely use the same belt for any tactical pistol classes I'd take as well.

EDIT: oh damn, I just compared my existing pouches to my the polymer minis: the HSGI pouch is 0.5" taller than what I have now. That's practically covering the whole magazine (g19), so speed reloads would be tough because not as much exposed magazine to grip. Back to the drawing board? :-\

Put a foam spacer on the bottom of the HSGI mags so the short mags ride higher. Adjust bungee to snug
