I know the g45 is a gen 5, but the g45 slide assembly might be compatible w/ a gen 4 19 frame. Of course that only helps if you already have a gen 4.

It seems some gunbroker sellers are making this claim with gen 4 compatibility, https://www.gunbroker.com/item/800646089 at least when I was shopping for slide assemblies, (I ended up getting the gen 4 front serrated slide from Brownells). I thought I may have seen a video making this claim as well regarding g45 and 19x compatibility w/ gen 4 19's, I'm searching for it now without any luck. I will edit and paste a video if I find it. Sorry for not having concrete results. If anyone has actually tried it yet can you chime in?
