    PPQ M1 vs M2

Besides the mag release design, are there any significant differences between the M1 and the M2..? Thanks.

No difference other than the magazine release and the magazines.

Make sure if you pick up mags to get the M2 version. They are not backwards compatible with the M1.

I almost learned this lesson the hard way. When I bought my 4" PPQ, had a choice between M1 and M2. I chose the M2 since my stubby 'Murican fingers can only press a button to release the mag (and I can reach it on the M2). Later I bought a pair of 5" which only come as M2s. So now I can swap all mags across all 3! Winner Winner Winner.

Just the mag release and the mags as already mentioned. Mags are not compatible with the other PPQ model.

I randomly choose a M1 when I ordered my PPQ. (sse) I really love the trigger guard releases. So quick and easy. I do not have to rotate the pistol in order to press a button. I can keep my gun on target while I release/install new mag. I wish I had that type of release on all of my pistols.

I agree with squeeze. It's hard to go back to button release once you go with the lever release. Shooters with smaller hands/shorter fingers would probably disagree though.
