I'm no expert when it comes to modifying firearms. I learn what I can online and through peers so most of my mods are mostly drop-in type stuff. I'm working on a Glock 17 build for fun and one of the changes is to the trigger connector. I decided to go with the Ghost Ranger 4.5 lb connector and hoping someone here can help verify it was done correctly as it seemed pretty simple from YouTube videos, but I couldn't find an image showing what it looks like completed.
In the first image you can see I've push the connector tab flush with the trigger housing. The thing I'm not sure about is the second image where there's a sizable gap between the connector and housing. Is that right? The OEM connector also has a gap but the Ghost seems to be a bit wider.
I also replaced the OEM trigger spring with a Ghost 6 lb spring. I mirrored the stock orientation for the spring connections to the trigger bar. Any chance I could have done that wrong?
My function check showed a definite take up in slack and a very crisp break and reset of the trigger. Anything else to check before heading to the range?
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!
