I find the Winchester white box .380 cycles very well. It is a flat nose FMJ. You can find it at Walmart.

My gun is 100% reliable with the flat nose FMJ and hollow points, but not as much with the traditional round nose bullets for some reason.

I take your question to be commercial ammo not reloading. I just buy the cheapest I can find on the shelf. Check out Walmart in your area. As a reloader, there are many more options.

For target/practice I've had good luck with Fiocchi and Winchester White Box 95gr FMJ. Fiocchi is usualy quite a bit cheaper. Shot from a Sig P238.

Since I rarely shoot my PPK, I stick with factory loads mostly. .380 is a bit of a pita to reload IMO, I do it from time to time, but don't mess with it often. I buy whatever is cheap.

Federal FMJs will cycle that .380 just fine with plenty of snap.

                            .380 round

any fmj ball ammo above 92gr (perfecta, maxxim, s&b, blazer, magtech, speer, aguila, fiocchi, ppu) runs fine in a mak, bersa or sig. that said, cheap russian steelcase tula ammo is reserved for its fellow countryman mak.
