    My Newest Treasure

I just rescued this baby from it's 10 day purgatory:

1958 vintage Model 28. It appears to have a very low round count. The only visible blemishes show just forward of the trigger guard on the frame, otherwise, it's in primo shape. Too bad it doesn't have the original stocks on her. I'll have to work on that...

I just love those old wheel guns!
If it ain't broke, keep fixin' it 'til it is...

Very nice, I love the oldies too and the M28 is on my list of ones to get.
    Good luck with it.

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.

Pretty! Now you gotta look for vintage wood grips.

        Niiice!

Members on the Smiths board has a crap load of target stocks available. Post up a WTB there, you'll get bombarded with offerings, then its easy pickin's from there.

          Nice gun

I'll bet its a good shooter. Those old N frame S&Ws have wonderful triggers. I have a 50 year old model 27 that is a joy to shoot.

Verrry nice! I have a 4" 28 pinned and countersunk - these are nice shooters.
