It’s on consignment and is in the 30 day hold. I put a deposit down but was debating if I should pull my name and get my money back. If I can replace the sights and use a fiber optic on the front it will just cover up the other hole and no big deal, but if the factory hole was drilled out and I can’t install a standard front sight I will be rethinking my purchase.

Gen 2 was introduced in 1988. The world was a lot different back then and zero to few options for Glock owners.

Personally, I'd buy it and shoot it before seeing if there is need for replacing the sights.

That hole is too big and rounded, any front sight will just turn and move around. Unless it's a super great price as in free... you're out of luck on getting replacement front. That said... if you want it as a frame work for RMR, I'll jump on it cause those sights looks high enough for cowitness to RMR.

              I agree with this advice.

I'd also say that if the OP is getting a great price on this Gen 2 G19, then it also might be worthwhile to set aside the original slide, and get an aftermarket slide. Lots of options today!
