I've seen some really stupid big hoglegs, like the one on U-tube that blew out of the Maroon's hand, but that really M1911 in .50 GI does look good!

I assume you have a M1911 in .45 ACP. Please let us know how the two compare at the range. Please.

I was seriously considering one of these but the ammo availability kinda scared me. There was one at a local shop that I was drooling over for awhile and the fit and finish of the pistol was excellent. Heck, I'm excited for you now! What is the lead time? Are you thinking about getting the .45acp conversion slide?

Does anyone know what pressures this operates at? off the top of my head, .45 ACP is somewhere around 21,000 psi and +p is something like 23,000-24,000.
