Lone wolf has 100% in my experience been trash for everything... try a stock glock recoil assembly. Or Taran Tactical is gtg too. Wolff springs (not lone wolf) is always gtg for springs.

Top one looks factory while the bottom looks to be aftermarket stainless/tungsten and could have a different spring rate. Different spring rates are usually different lengths. It could be the spring is a tad bit to long and isn't letting the sliding cycle back all the way. Or the spring might be to light and the slide is cycling to quick.

Does the aftermarket guide rod have a screw to take it apart? If so, you could try a different spring rate. Or just get another factory glock recoil assembly and be done.

That's why they call it Glock Perfection. Until you muck it up.

Lonewolf guide rod/spring, which spring weight did you buy?

              Tul 9mm 115 gr steel.

Lone wolf assy. The receipt doesn't have the spring weight.
part number: LWD GRA 1722 $19.95 (looking at the glock store theirs is less than $10)

Looks like a 17 pound spring. The part number I have doesn't have a spring weight on the website. The newer, different looking recoil assy, is the same price and advertises the 17 pound weight.

When I bought one, it was guide rod only, and you had to choose/buy the spring separately. Did you buy it directly from Lone Wolf?

Regardless, I'd just get a stock Glock RSA and be done with it.

The top one looks stock. Since that is the one that works, I’d recommend just buying another one. The stock ones are cheap and work well.

To me the issue looks to be that the bottom one has a thinner rod or a larger inner diameter of the spring. So what may be happening on compression is that the spring is also moving laterally on the guide rod. Since the p80 frame requires you to mill out the spring pocket, you likely didn’t mill enough so the spring is dragging on the frame, slowing the recoil and causing jams.

Both are new? I vote for what others have said, the factory stock recoil guide rod is the answer.. just my opinion..
