That actually is an excellent question.

How sellers on the marketplace adapt with this change will be interesting. No one wants to get stuck with 10 rd ones.

Will those interested in purchasing a handgun just go new to get standard capacity magazines?

Off list handguns will always draw a premium.

I would imagine those rostered handguns in the market place will take a hit and they will have to lower prices.
Looks like it got even better to find a deal in that sub forum of Calguns.

dont think so. the doj roster has specific numbers that make certain guns ca legal to buy.

      example

cz 75 sp01 standard 91120 (not ca legal)
cz 75 sp01 low capacity 01120 (ca legal)

I think hes talking off roster, like glock 19x, which generally come with no mags or a single 10 rounder on the secondary market, but came across the counter with 2 17 round magazines.

We are talking off-roster guns here.

There are sellers who will want to squeeze the last penny out of transactions, so they'll provide a single 10 round magazine (or no magazine), while selling the magazines separately. It shouldn't be this way, but I've seen it enough.
