Where to Buy RIA 1911 in SoCal??

I'm actively looking to get an entry model Rock Island Armory 1911, but can't find any dealers in the SoCal area that keep any RIA models in stock. A few advised they can place on order, but no certainties and the price sounds inflated, based on my opinion.

Any recommendations on where I might likely find RIA 1911s, basically in any variation, readily avail around here in SoCal?

The Stockade had them on display last week. Ammo bros. sometimes have them on display too.

It's not local, but you could order a RIA 1911 from Sarco and have it shipped to your FFL dealer.

      Sarco is listing...
      RIA .45ACP 1911 GI for $339.95 + $15 shipping
      RIA .45ACP 1911 Tactical for $394.99 + $15 shipping
      RIA .38Super 1911 GI for $349.99 + $15 shipping

I was looking at the FFL option, but the fees charged around here are ridiculous, over $150 on most places.

Where in SoCal are you located?
I currently use BSP in Riverside, they charge $60 for out-of-state transfer.

Have you seen this thread about FFL dealers and their fees?

FYI, Hewitt Smith in Colton charges $50 for his FFL fee. $150 is insane!

Do you recall what the prices were like at these places?

Actually, according to the Sarco website shipping charges are:

Pistols to California (UPS only) about $55.00 to $60.00 + insurance
