    Glock 17 for 3 gun?

Is a Glock 17 sufficient for 3 gun or is a 34 a huge improvement?

I carried a G41 IWB occasionally for a few years. Slide wasn’t much of a problem most of the time.

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

Perhaps not for everyone, but I think a Glock 34 with a proper strong side holster is a perfect CCW gun. Keep in mind the length of the barrel length is the easy part to conceal. The grip and frame size make up the hard part.

You could also buy a separate G17 slide to swap out on your G34. It works well for me and I'm not really a huge Glock fan. If you wait until Black Friday, you can put together a G17 upper for a decent price.

I would just go with a 17. Great gun, long enough barrel.

I shoot the Glock 17 and 34 equally well. The 34 might have a slight leg up on farther shots with its longer sight radius, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything when I shoot the 17.

I think the 19 on the other hand is a compromise. I find that it takes more effort to shoot well with it because the grip is too short for my hands.

                          Glock

I run a glock 19 as well as a glock 34. Same sight set up though

If you already had the 17, run that.
If you would be purchasing either the 17 or 34 fir competition, go with the 34.
