what would auction houses be considered. if there were 2 pistols at an auction house outside of california and had them shipped to 01 FFL in cal.

    is that a dealer inventory?

those would be considered dealer transfers, and would fall under the 1-in-30.

Basically ALL handgun transfers through a dealer, sales or transfers, must comply with the 1-in-30, unless the buyer is exempt from the 1-in-30, or the transfer is exempt, such as a PPT or cosignment.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Got it, thanks. I just got the general feeling that the stores never knew how many you had done...but of course the higher powers would, and would deny your DROS if you broke the rule.

Are consignment guns considered PPT or dealer inventory? I ask because I have seen conflicting answers in this forum. I am in the penalty box for a dealer purchase and would like to look for consignment guns if I can start DROS now.

cosignments can be considered a sort of "delayed PPT", which are exempt from the Roster, and the 1-in-30 days.
