Pretty cool. I have a Glock 17, gen 2 with original box and papers. I don't think I've ever shot it. It just sits in the safe. I don't know why I don't care to shoot it. I like revolvers more.

Anyway, my box did not have that sticker on tupperware box.

My memory seems to tell me there was a recall on those early boxes because people who were storing loaded and cocked pistols were discharging them when they placed them in those boxes - ? Is my memory wrong?

I kinda remember the gun store owner asking for my original plastic box and I got another one - supposedly safer - to replace it.

Or is my memory playing tricks on me - ?

You’re spot on. I’ve got a bunch of the Tupperware glocks. I couldn’t imagine sliding the trigger past that peg if the gun was loaded. They had to be very stupid people. The peg is too big to allow the gun to slide in there if the gun is cocked with the trigger forward

that one was made for European market. It has Austrian proof marks. US imports of that time had US as part of the serial number. Does yours have US anywhere in the SN?

I purchase my G21 gen 2 back in the early 90's (new) and it has "US" at the end of the serial number.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain..."

I am guessing you wanted to see mine?

Only see US on the sticker on the replacement box.
