CZ sp01 light strike and FTF after upgrades

Still diagnosing but basically my sp01 with shadow upper cajunized ran perfect. I decided to switch the 85c trigger to an SAO, install a 10x bushing, safety shelf, and shadow mag release.

After two range trips with fiocchi 115 which has always worked perfect I started getting light strikes and failures to feed maybe 3 light strikes and 5 ftf out of 200 rounds. Tried remington and sillier and ballot and also had the same issues.

I'm cleaning my mags right now to see if that's the FTF problem. I do have a lighter (green) recoil spring. Is the bushing causing the problem?

Also while cleaning the firing pin I noticed the last ring of the spring has broken off. Not sure if it was like that before I dont remember. Would that cause light strikes? I'm running a 11.5 mainspring with 2lb 10oz pull but it had no issues before the changes.

Anyways just curious, I'm cleaning everything again and still diagnosing. Maybe the bushing needs to be broken in. Will they and figure out what firing pin spring I need and get it replaced asap. Not sure if it has shadow 1 spring or after market.

Side note rented a q5 match to compare to my cz at 5 yards. Fun gun for sure

Definitely was a broken firing pin spring. Bottom of pic was the one I had in there, middle is reduced power spring, and top is factory. I was missing a large chunk of the spring somehow.

Try a new firing pin spring: https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-all/fi...g-factory.html

I would clean the extractor and as you said clean the mags. The broken spring could be the source of your failure to fire, maybe the extra piece of spring was jamming things up.

Are you running an extended firing pin?

I believe the shadow upper has an extended firing pin? I'm not positive on that.

Edit. Just measured, I have an extended firing pin. Springs ordered

Put the original parts back in it and see if that fixes your problem.

I didn't do my own work unfortunately. But new firing pin springs on the way

              Edited first post with solution.
