    which handgun to get next

I'm looking to purchase a new handgun and cant decide what to get. I already own a glock 19 and love it, and I want the new handgun to be just as enjoyable as the glock. I am pretty sure I'm going to get another 9mm because I love how cheap 9mm is. I have no interest in a .40 and if I buy a .45 I don't see myself shooting it often cause I'd rather take the glock out since its cheaper to shoot.

So far the only things that have really jumped out at me are:

    -Kahr k9
    -Sig 226

What do you guys think? any other recommendations?

Since you have a G19 get a Sig P229 to match, since their both compacts. Or if you want to go full size then the P226 is great too.

Just picked up a Springfield 1911 SS Loaded in 9mm in the LA area at Rettings in Culver City. They had a couple. This is a marvelous gun! I can't shoot it enough. Has everything, excellent trigger and build quality could not be better for an off the shelf pistol. For another $300 it is heads and shoulders above my Mil-Spec 45.

Take a look at a CZ75B. If has great ergonomics (at least for me) and it will give you a steel frame as a change-up to the Glock. Can you tell I got mine TODAY!

You need to try a 1911 before you decide against a .45acp. I know it is more expensive but you are close to me. I have a Dillon 650 and have it setup for .45acp. I can load a box of 100 for less than a 50 pack of 9mm factory. You are welcome to come on over and load on my machine. PM me the next time you go to USI and I will let you try my 1911's.

I love shooting 9mm as well because it's the cheapest to shoot (and I reload). Of course I also love my .22s for that same reason.

I'd recommend you look at the CZ SP01, S&W M&P 9mm, as well as the Sig 226 and 9mm 1911, in order of increasing cost. If you're looking for another compact 9mm handgun all of the above have compact models also.

                            Joe,
I would look at a Kimber, but if that doesn't get a look the Sig 226 would be my choice.
                            Very interesting!!
                            Uhh.ohh, wifes home gotta go....
