    FN five seven roster on/off

There seems to be conflicting information regarding this pistol. It went on-roster in Dec/ 18 and then off-roster in Jan/19. Does anyone know what the status actually is?

Did you even bother to take 10 seconds to look on the roster for yourself? Both the black and FDE are on there.

Lighten up Francis. I was looking at the "recently added" and "recently removed" PDF lists on the DOJ site. They haven't been updated, and no, I didn't scroll down the list. Thank you anyhow.

The recently removed are the older models - IOM and USG.

Apparently reading is hard and comprehension is becoming a lost art.

And that is your problem, you only looked at the recently added and recently removed lists. I took 15 seconds, went to the DOJ handgun roster webpage, scrolled down the roster list (it is in alphabetical order) got to the FN listings and there were just 2, both for the Five-seveN models that are on the roster. That was faster than the time it took you to write your OP.

It really is the same as saying I searched the recently added and removed lists and did not see the Gen 3 Glock G19. Is it still on the roster? Look at the complete roster if you want to see if a gun is on the roster. Only look at the recently added or recently removed lists if you are interested what has recently been added or removed. Do not expect it to contain a list of every gun on the roster.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

There are actually four Five SeveN models listed. Two are under FN Herstal and two are under Fabrique National.

I can never figure out why, when its easier to just answer the guys question, somebody will go to the extra trouble of giving a snotty ***** answer. I guess some folks just like to bicker. We are all supposed to be on the same side here.

Maybe because promoting self reliance is better than promoting dependence and victim-hood.

I grew up during the time of no cell phones, no PCs, and no Internet. When I needed to answer a question or right a paper for school I went to the library for research. If I had to write a paper, I typed it on a manual typewriter. My Master's thesis was written on a typewriter. When I was doing research for my Ph.D, the Internet was just catching on, but I still had to find things myself.

With the Internet, I can find information very fast. Google is a great tool. Substitute your favorite search engine.

With information so easy to find and access so many people are even more clueless than ever before.

I was doing a PPT yesterday. A woman came in to do one. She had waited a month to get her DL in the mail as she had renewed it. She was shocked to learned she had a Federal limits applied license and the LGS would not accept it. She did not know about the Real ID and what is required to get one.

A month ago I got my renewal notice in the mail. It included what I would need to get a Real ID. I made an appointment at a DMV office in an out of the way place in CA when I will be on break in two weeks. I collected everything I needed and kept the DMV information on what I need so I can show the clerk this is what the DMV people in Sacramento say I need. I also have more than the minimum. I also printed out the DMV page on their website with the same information.

It is reading comprehension. She never looked at the what was in the envelope. She saw the paper that said send a check for $36, sent the check and tossed everything else.

Heck, people sign contracts all the time these days without reading them.

This is the common sense that is no longer so common.
