Glock aftermarket trigger - which one?

    Hello all,

I finally decided to take a look at aftermarket triggers for a Glock.

The trigger will only be used at the range.
    It is for a G19 gen 3.

I know there are many options and I will research, but wanted to get your opinions.

Let me know what aftermarket trigger is your Glock rockin'

I’m just weird. I like the factory trigger.

i purchased the Overwatch Precision Falx model after first trying the 25 cent polish. Both modifications helped the overall quality of the trigger action, the former more than the latter.......but i must admit in retrospect i'm not overly impressed.

A good friend has the Apex Tactical trigger system and i think it's ever so slightly better than the Overwatch.

I had the opportunity to try a Johnny Glock tuned model 34 and that probably would be my preference were i committed to further modifying the trigger.

Ultimately it's important to note that the trigger function and feel will not, based on my limited experience, approach that of the 1911. I probably should have made peace with that reality earlier on.

I wish i could comment on long term reliability etc but i've not really taken to the platform and as such now rarely shoot the pistol.

        Just some thoughts

Tried most of them... Liked these two:
            - ZEV Fulcrum has the most comfortable flat trigger face.
            - Glock Triggers offers the HALEY SKIMMER which is basically your original Glock trigger taken to next step. Shorter pre-travel, highly polished, smooth face trigger, complete new set of springs.

My match G34.3 for USPSA Production and IDPA SSP uses a Charlie Vanek GM Classic kit.

And I get personalized service from Charlie in regards to fine tuning his trigger with my preferences, etc

ALL my OTHER Glocks are stock (GSSF matches need them to be in stock), with my G22.3 for dry practice having the NY2 heavy trigger.

The Zev professional (non-adjustable) triggers have worked well for me.

Over the years, I've tried a lot of Glock triggers. It all depends what you like. Do you want a wall or a rolling break? The latest I've tried is a $.25 trigger job (polish) and Ghost Angel 3.0 trigger. It provides a smooth rolling break but maintains all the safeties. It's very different. https://ghostinc.com/angel-3-0-gen-1-5-x/ I'm still getting used to it, because, I'm used to a hard wall, which this definitely doesn't have. But, it is definitely light, smooth, and safe. It is taking some getting used to though.

FYI, the Angel 3.0 will not work with all AFTERMARKET triggers. I tried it in my G19 with an Overwatch Tac trigger, and it did not fire when you pressed the trigger - it fired when you released the trigger AFTER pressing it. Bad juju. It works fine with the stock trigger though. I don't know if it will work with any other AFTERMARKET triggers, I only tried the Overwatch Tac.

The old Zev triggers were smooth and light, but deactivate the drop safety. I don't know about the newer versions. Agency and Overwatch Tac take out some of the slack, but keep the drop safety in tact. The Agency and Overwatch Tac maintain a wall, and feel pretty much the same to me with a slight edge going to the Overwatch (although the trigger on my Agency G30, which Agency installed, is much better than any drop in).

I like the smooth non serrated factory trigger in my HD and carry. My range toy has an Agency Arms trigger in it, I really like the flat face and clean break.
                      Have a good day!

Zev or Apex. Glock stock is garbage.

Factory Trigger bar has rough edge on plunger lifter, and surface to connector.
Those surface are "pressed cut" area so very dirty cross sections.
You can polish factory trigger bar to mirror surface everywhere, I know.

EDIT: One more, trigger bar to striker surface is critical to get sharp release.
