Bought a used MP9 Shield that I'm picking up today. I knew beforehand it had this bad spring so I ordered one from Brownell's. Per the schematic, it looks like you pop out the two pins and replace it. Anyone ever replace one? If so, easy...difficult?

Watch a few videos. There is a specific way to hook the spring on the trigger bar.
What wrong with the spring? My Marketplace Feedback: https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...k#post54003245Comment

I made this tool from a small screw driver and Dremel. It helps to mount and un-mount the springs.

All, thanks for the suggestions.....much appreciated.
Picked up the gun (the lower actually) today from LC Action and when I got home, I put the slide on. Now, I can't get the slide to lock back nor can I remove it...arghhhh.
Checked out some YouTube vids and I guess this problem happens on occasion. Problem is there's a spring near the take down lever that gets out of place and prevents removal of the slide. As per the video (link below), I tried depressing that spring with a flathead screwdriver but to no avail. Looks like a trip to a gunsmith is in order. Check out at the 4:28 mark of this video. That is the issue I have now.

I bought a pair of HK trigger return spring pliers ($12 - $14) that make the job much easier to do. Others have just made their own pair by grinding a notch in the tip of an old pair of nn pliers with a dremel tool. I'm an electrician so $14 for a pair of pliers to do a specific job is more than reasonable, imo.
