Here is a comparison between a 2" 41 Mag revolver and a Glock 20 using the same weight bullet. Remington factory ammo was used in the 41 mag revolver, and handloaded 10mm ammo was used in the Glock 20. The 10mm ammo was not optimized. It was just one test load. The factory Remington 41 mag ammo was 100 fps faster than the handloaded 10mm from the same sized gun; not the same size/length barrel. It might be possible to match the 10mm load to the same velocity as the 41 Mag load from a 2" barrel.

      See post #43. http://10mm-firearms.com/reloading-1...lets-in-a-10mm

Two statements from that post you should take note of.

"The Remington 210 grain load was brutal in the 2" Night Guard. I could not see anyone shooting all six rounds at a charging bear. My opinion is that these Remington loads are useless in a short barreled light weight .41 magnum revolver. The steel Model 57 was better."

"Both the 2" S&W Night Guard and the Glock 20 are very close in size, with the Revolver being wider."

Outstanding write up. Great data. I'd say skip the .41 mag. Do .45 colt in a large frame Ruger. It would be interesting because you'd have some loads at the very bottom, and then loads above .44 mag! It's such a great caliber.

            I got another 10mm, Sig P220 10mm Elite upper (+ Sig P220 45ACP Scorpion Lower) so compared to G40.

17 Yard sand bag, P220 looks slightly better?? than G40 but not pleased with accuracy.

9mm Sigs are all better than 10mm.

I want everything Accuracy, Velocity, Muzzle Energy from 10mm
will continue to try another bullets / powder / bit less pressure.
