Flush, pinky extension or base pad?

For those with any subcompacts, what do you prefer? Flush, pinky extension, or base pad? I just switched from a pinky extension to base pad and not sure how much better I like it, but I do like that the base pad is +1 and brought the magazine size to 10.

I use the plastic pierce plus one mag bases with my Glock 27, have for a very long time. They are very durable and dependable, I like the extra purchase for my little finger while not adding much in terms of size to the grip. They are also inexpensive.

Oddly enough, I prefer both my Shield and my G26 with the shortest magazines. Not what I expected, but that’s how it turned out

On a smaller gun (G43, Shield, etc), I like running a Pearce +1 pinky extension.

On a G26, I like running a G19 mag with a spacer sleeve on it.

I use pinky extension on the Glock 42 and 26, flush fit on my Walther PPS M2 is actually very easy for me too shoot with and a tad more concealable.

Flush mag with MagGuts on my shield. I didn't like how much the pinky extensions and extended mags printed.

Extended mag with MagGuts for spare mag.

If not a carry gun, then definently would go with longer grip.

Pinky extension for my P30SK, does print more but I adjust the cant angle a little.

+1. Well not full size. Glock 19 size. And it's not that stubbies are for sissies. It's simply that a stubby isn't a gun I would ever actually want to fight with or bet my life on. But if I were to carry one, it would have the pinky extension at a minimum. My preference would be for a base pad for more rounds. But once you start adding base pads, you're really back into a glock 19 size grip. And at that point, I'd much rather have a G19 size gun. YMMV

An extension on a M26 works out to be a snub nose M19.

My EDC's, whether OWB or appendix, will always use extended mags for capacity. With my pocket pistols I prefer flush. The pinky extensions that come with them are never used, even at the range.

If I was to carry my G27 it will have the standard base pad for concealability, and my spare mags have the extended base pad. My S&W BG380 have all the pinky extension installed on all the mags.

On a smaller caliber, I would say flush mag. I have a Ruger LC-9, it feels better with the pinky extension but when shooting I seem to do just fine with the flush mag. With the G-27 though, I think the pinky extension is needed to control the somehow magically simultaneously "Short and weak" yet "Snappy" .40
I own 2 .40 pistols and like them both, screw the haters.

                              That's what she said

(that's sig material btw, going to use it)

OP, I had the pierce extension on my 43 and 26 and I preferred those over anything else after I sanded down that lip/edge.
